The self-proclaimed King of the south T.I. is already gearing up to make his next major release. As you can guess rap fans alike will be watching to anxiously to see what T.I. brings to the table.

The forthcoming album titled shall be titled “King Uncaged,” and according to the Southern rapper he plans to deliver a project that will rival what is arguably the best post incarceration album of all time, Tupac’s 1996 album, All Eyez On Me. That’s a pretty confident and bold statement to compare one’s work to that of one of the greater rappers of all time, so time will surely tell if T.I. will prevail.

“This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then,” said T.I. while talking to Rolling Stone. “Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results. I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them.”

“Some songs talk about my time in prison — how I was affected by that, the way I’ve grown from that, things I see now that I may not have seen then.  Sometimes I talk about love, some songs I talk about life, some songs I talk about me being the sh*t on every level.”

T.I. was also quick to let the people know that the album will not be about the typical rapping topics. That’s right no gun talk. Which might lead the public to believe that T.I. did in fact learn a valuable lesson from his jail stint over those crazy gun charges.
