Miranda Barbour, 19, and newlywed husband, Elytte Barbour, 22, have admitted to killing a man they met on Craigslist and claim to have also murdered 20 others!!
Barbour was interviewed by the Daily Item in Sunbury, and during the interview, she claims that over the past 6 years, she has killed 22 others in a cross-country murdering spree from North Carolina to Alaska.
“I feel it is time to get all of this out. I don’t care if people believe me. I just want to get it out.”
Barbour also said that she’s pleading guilty to killing Troy LaFerra last November. Barbour says that she met LaFerra after he responded to her Craigslist ad offering companionship for money.
Court papers state that the couple killed LaFerra because they wanted to kill someone together. They also admit that Miranda Barbour stabbed the victim in the front seat and her husband strangled him with a cord.
The murdering twosome have NC ties, as they were married in NC weeks before murdering LaFerra and then moved to Pennsylvania.
Attorneys for the Barbours are seeking psychiatric evaluations for their clients and have asked the judge to throw out statements Miranda made before she was charged.
The prosecution wants the death penalty.
