R.I.P. to Frankie Knuckles, the ‘godfather’ of House music…
Knuckles passed Monday (3/31) due to complications from type II diabetes in Chicago. He was 59. During the 80’s and 90’s as a DJ, remixer, and producer, Knuckles helped lay the foundation for contemporary electronic dance music.
Some of his biggest dance hits include Your Love (1986), Baby Wants To Ride (1987) and The Whistle Song (1991).
