Rapper Gucci Mane is currently awaiting trial for two events where he threatened police enforcement with a gun. His trial, set for April 15, is currently being asked to be pushed back in order to discuss a plea bargain.
According to documents, all involved parties would like to resolve this issue outside of a trial. “The parties believe they may have resolved this matter subject to certain approvals including a meeting with the Court. However, due to various schedule conflicts, counsel have been unable to finalize the matter and given defense counsels respective absence from the jurisdiction over the next week, will be unable to finalize the matter prior to the trial date,” the document said.
This deal could reduce the possible 20 years that he would have to face in prison.
