Sean Combs, largely known as P.Diddy, received an honorary degree from Howard University in Washington, DC, on Saturday (May 10). Although he dropped out in 1990, Diddy went on to become a hip-hop entrepreneur and a constant name on Forbes highest paid celebrities list.
Diddy gave the college’s 146th commencement address and talked of his time at Howard, saying, “Howard University didn’t just change my life—it entered my soul, my heart, my being, and my spirit.”
Diddy brought his mom, Janice Combs, and was also supported by Bow Wow, French Montana, will.i.am and Jermaine Dupri.
“Of all the amazing moments God has blessed me with, this has to be one of The Greatest! Thanks You Howard University and The Class of 2014.”
