Six years after being acquitted of child pornography charges,R. Kelly still experience backlash from having a reputation as a sexual predator. Columbus, Ohio’s Fashion Meets Music Festival dropped R.Kelly as the headliner after two bands and a radio sponsor pulled out. One of the bands stated that they felt like R. Kelly’s selection as a performer ignores his very serious allegations of sexual violence and assault and they plan to perform at a benefit concert for survivors of sexual abuse on the same day as the Fashion Meets Music Festival. Even though the Pied Piper of R&B was found not guilty on all 14 counts on a case that dragged on for 6 1/2 years, many still look at him as guilty of being a a sexual predator. The rumors have been out there for years, including the one of his marriage to a then 15 year old Aaliyah. Not guilty in the courtroom does not equate an acquittal in the streets when it comes to R Kelly…………what are your thoughts?
