Bill Cosby was supposed to be returning to NBC with an all-new comedy. That won’t happen now.
NBC announced today that they will not be moving forward with the comedy. To date, 15 women have come forward with claims that they were raped by the beloved sitcom father.
In addition, Netflix says they are postponing an upcoming Cosby special.
The allegations have surrounded Cosby for years. The Hollywood Reporter says: The comedian in 2006 settled out of court with a woman who claimed he’d sexually assaulted her. According to court documents, the attorneys planned to bring forward 13 other women with similar allegations. Cosby has denied these allegations.
