The song ‘Blurred Lines’ was not only a smash hit, a judge has ruled that it was also a copy! A judge has ruled in favor of singer Marvin Gaye’s family in a plagiarism lawsuit against the duo.

According to TMZ:

[In lieu of the ruling] Robin and the song’s producer Pharrell Wiliams are now on the hook for $7.3 million to Marvin’s family because the jury found they infringed on the Gaye copyright for his 1977 hit.

The jury ruled T.I. — who raps on ‘Blurred’ — was NOT responsible for the copyright infringement.
