VMA producers announced that they knew nothing about the epic speech that Kanye gave during the awards show. They stated that he changed his mind so many times over the course of the show. He was supposed to perform a 2-song medley after accepting his award. Although knowing West, and his indecisive ways, they had to be open when they selected him to be the Vanguard recipient. Kanye changed his mind at least 3 times, so to be really prepared, producers had a track on stand by just in case he broke out into a song.
Welp! Needless to say, his antics really showed that he was on something that night because producers nor his camp knew of the speech.
