A vice principal is under fire after appearing in a music video for rapper J.R.and Trey Songz for their single “Best Friend”. The Southampton High School VP Esther Adler-O’Keefe appears briefly in the video as a homeowner who is letting J.R. and Trey house-sit while she goes away, and of course the two artists throw a major house party with lots of women, booze, and booty shaking.
School district superintendent Scott Farina is upset and explained that the video does not line up with the school’s morals.
“The video in question showcases behaviors and language use that is not promoted by the Southampton School District,” said Farina. “In fact we actively teach our students the importance of good character and making smart choices.”
