While allegations of sexual assault are looming over his head, Bill Cosby is facing another potentially life changing challenge.
Cosby’s health is reportedly failing and his attorney has referred to him as a “blind man” during an interview with CBS This Morning.
“He’s a 78-year-old blind man who they’ve chosen to charge, that’s not a defense to a charge, that’s just a fact.”
Cosby is reportedly suffering from keratoconus, a serious condition that causes thinning of the cornea.
“Mr. Cosby has suffered from a degenerative eye condition for years which has steadily worsened recently to the point that he is for over a year has been legally and functionally blind.”
It is unclear when Cosby was diagnosed with the eye disease.
