Congratulations to Pastor John Miles of Risen Faith Outreach Ministry. He is our Hometown Champion.
Pastor Miles was nominated by Angela Miles for the work he does in the community. He is the founding pastor of Risen Faith Outreach Ministry, which opened in September 2014. In less than 2 years he has managed to provide turkeys to 48 families for Thanksgiving, canned food boxes for 26 families and toys for 75 families for Christmas.
He is a community leader who fights for our youth and tries to keep them on the right path. He is constantly called upon by others in the community to represent them and their family members in the court system, on their jobs, at school – even though he is not a lawyer. He is respected by judges, community leaders and public officials because they know he stands for what is right. If he tells you he has your back, he will stand on his word. God has blessed him to be a man of integrity and respect.
