In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Future began to express his feelings for his ex-fiance and R&B singer, Ciara.
He told Rolling stone that despite all of the heated drama that was in the media, he will always have love for Ciara. The two share a 2-year old son together who was named after rap star, Future.
The split, which happened extremely close to the release of his sophomore album Honest, was extremely public. Future says “I was scared as s–t. I was one step away from being married, and I feel like I failed publicly in relationships.”
Although Future has been repeatedly accused of wishing ill will for Ciara, he says those were never his intentions and that he wants good things for the mother of his third child. He added “I would never wish that, Ciara being successful, her being happy, helps me.”
He went on to say that he was attached to the singer, and that they would be “connected for life”. He doesn’t want her to struggle or go through things by herself. It’s quite obvious that the Dirty Sprite rapper still has some strong feelings for the R&B singer.
There’s no word on how Ciara seems to feel about it all, but she has been looking really happy with new fiance, Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.
