Former Boston Celtics shooting guard, Ray Allen has formally announced his retirement from the NBA. Allen, 41, last played in 2014 but had been holding out hope for the right opportunity. Allen is a 10-time all star and 2-time NBA champion. He is one of the greatest three-point shooters of all time, holding the NBA record for threes made with 2973.
