Lauren London is definitely not tolerating any slander on her baby weight gain. Her appearances at events have been slim to none since the birth of her second son, but for the few times she did step out made her a trending topic on social media. London had managed to keep her pregnancy discrete until last September where she took to instagram to announce the birth. Twitter and Instagram trolls have not made it easy for London since the announcement and even though alot of women have stood up for her on her behalf, she finally responded to them about her recent weight gain.
“I’ve been getting compliments on my looks for years,” she wrote on Instagram. “I never let it ‘gas me’ because I knew the enduring value in all things is internal. When I decided to have my son, I knew the Internet would be cruel…I knew that my body would change, but I did not let the fear of these things effect me to the point of going against my spirit,” London continued. “This lil weight will get worked off and who I am will be uncompromised. Win-win, no?”
