It has been reported that Nicki Minaj is dropping new music on LA’s Power106 Thursday, March 9th. Could this be the diss track that fans have been waiting on? Remy Ma doesn’t seem to care because she has called it quits. Remy took to her Facebook live with Buzzfeed’s Another Round Podcast to discuss how she would rather focus on empowering women.

“I do not condone or recommend the tearing down of another female,” Remy Ma said. “That’s not what I do. Anybody that knows me knows that I embrace females. I always want to do some girl-oriented thing. I think we work so much better when we work together and when we help each other. I just don’t, especially when I know someone who’s come from somewhere like I’ve come from, when you come from the bottom and you’ve actually managed to make something of yourself, it just makes me happy. It just makes me all mushy inside. However, in the event that you piss me off and we become archenemies, run for cover.”

Remy Ma also made it clear that she is not exactly proud of her diss track “shEther” or the media for condoning women to attack each other in the industry. She stated Nicki Minaj and herself could have been a powerful duo had they done a collaboration together. Now that Nicki is allegedly dropping new music, is this Remy Ma’s way of backing down?
