Migos member, Quavo, sat down with Billboard in a recent interview to clear up his comments about ILoveMakonnen being gay but did he actually make it worse? He states that because he has a record with Frank Ocean, that means he really has no ill will against Makonnen coming out to the world as a gay man. However, he did express because of style Makonnen does (trap music) it hurts his credibility.

“That ain’t got nothing to do with no sex or gender,” Quavo said. “It’s 2017, and we all living. When [Makonnen’s] music came out I thought it was hard, so if he would’ve come out the same way…” Quavo said before pausing. “I got a record with Frank Ocean. That closes my case. We ain’t saying it’s nothing wrong with the gays,” Quavo said.

The situation started out with The Migos doing an interview with Rolling Stone where the group was shocked about how many people actually support Makonnen and his gay come-out.

“Damn, Makonnen!” Quavo said. “They supported him?” Offset followed that up by saying Makonnen got support “because the world is f***** up.” Takeoff added, “This world is not right.”
