Kodak Black is asking a judge to give some leniency and allow him to travel to New Orleans while out on probation. The Florida rapper says he wants to speak to low income children about the mistakes that he has made and how they can stay out of trouble.

Kodak was released from jail earlier this month after being sentenced to a 364 day stint behind bars for probation violation. Even though he was released early, he is still on probation for a few more years.

Kodak and his attorneys filed documents last week requesting permission to leave Florida and participate in a charitable event hosted in New Orleans by Team Hope Nola on June 29th.

The organization invited Kodak to attend and speak with the children and help them get on the right path. As of today, the judge has still not made a decision on the request.
