The popular Nickelodeon children’s show Dora the Explorer is finally headed for the big screen. It will be a live-action flick where Dora is no longer a 7-year-old kid, but a teenager who moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego.

The film will be written and directed by Nick Stoller who directed Neighbors and produced 2011’s The Muppets. One major action director will produce the movie — someone who’s already stirring a lot of talk on Twitter — Michael Bay.

That’s right. The man behind the Transformers franchise and explosions galore will be involved with a Dora the Explorer project.

Twitter wasn’t ready.

We’ll definitely can’t wait till the first trailer drops. It should be lit.
