Rapper Meek Mill has been released from prison after the Supreme Court of PA decided to overrule a decision made by Judge Genece Brinkley. Brinkley had been criticized for her work on the case against Meek. She decided to keep Meek locked up even though prosecutors asked that his conviction be overturned because of a corrupt cop.
Meek tells TMZ … “I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.”
