During a recent press conference rapper Meek Mill revealed that he was previous addicted to opioid pain killers. The rapper said that he hid his addiction from the people around him because he felt like he would be sent back to jail if his probation officer found out.
Meek said:
At one point in my life, I was actually addicted to opioids. I think it should be a line drawn where you have a drug problem where you’re scared to tell your probation officer you have a drug problem because you don’t want to be sent to prison for years.
He went on to say that he eventually told his P.O. and was placed in a rehab program.
