Something great actually did come out of Kim Kardashian’s meeting with President Trump about prison reform at the White House last week.
Mic is reporting that Trump has granted clemency to Alice Marie Johnson this morning. Kim K went to bat for the 63-year-old great-grandmother when she met with the president because Alice was a first-time nonviolent drug offender who was given a life sentence without parole.
Alice will be released from federal prison in Aliceville, Alabama. She has been serving her sentence there since 1996.
