Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ album has landed at the number one spot on this week’s Billboard 200 album chart. With features from Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travi$ Scott and Ashanti, C5 sold over 480,000 equivalent album units (141k in traditional sales) opening week according to Nielsen Music. Drake’s Scorpion and Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” are the only projects to sell more than Weezy in 2018.
Tha Carter 5 picked up 433 million streams in the first week that it was available.
