Earlier this year the City Girls got some really bad news when they found out that one half of the duo would have to do some time behind bars. Member JT turned herself in to authorities for fraud charges last July and fans were left wondering what the fate of the duo would be.
Earlier today a message from JT was shared by Quality Control label boss Pee. A phone call with JT was posted on Instagram.
JT said “Wassup y’all? I miss y’all! I can not wait to come home. Period” and announced that a new album would be coming soon.
Her original prison sentence was supposed to extend until March 21, 2020, but it looks like she will be home by December of this year.
