The highly anticipated 3rd season of the hit show, ‘Atlanta’ has been delayed. This is the second time it’s been delayed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show was renewed for a third season last June but because of Donald Glover (show star and creator) other obligations, the show is running behind schedule.

John Landgraf, FX Networks CEO, said Monday during the Television Critics Association winter press tour “I don’t know whether we’ll have Atlanta or not. The writers are back working right now, thank God.”  Publicist John Solberg also stated that the series “won’t be for this Emmy cycle,” which runs June 1, 2018, through May 31, 2019. Awww man!

As you know, Glover is the voice of Simba in the live-action version of ‘The Lion King’ due in theaters on July 19th.  Plus, he has another movie coming out with Letitia Wright and Rihanna called ‘Guava Island’. He also lost his father last year while he was on the This Is America Tour.

Maybe Donald Glover is a little too busy to do the show? Maybe they could write him out for a while? Let’s see what happens next.
