Women’s Empowerment 2019 25th Anniversary Celebration

Featuring

With Performance By

Jacquees

The Atlanta-based singer & songwriter has cooked up his own smooth, slick, and simmering brand of 21st century R&B with an old school twist on his debut release 4275.

In 2014, he released his first independent debut EP, 19, which landed at #3 on iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart and #15 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums Chart. Jacquees would go on to collaborate with everybody from Jagged Edge and Travis Porter to Lloyd, Chris Brown, Young Thug, and T.I. In 2014, he signed a recording and management contract with Cash Money Records. His 2016 single, “B.E.D.”, was on the Billboard charts for 7 weeks.

Starting 2015 off with a bang, Jacquees released the fan favorite – Quemix 2 mixtape the first week of January and his videos for the singles “Me, U, & Patron,” made a massive impact with clocking over 4 million views and “How Bout Now (Remix)” garnering 2 million-plus views. In 2016, Quees released his latest mixtape in February, Mood, which featured guest appearances from the likes of Dej Loaf, Birdman, Kevin Gates, Young Scooter, Rich Homie Quan and Kirko Bangz.

As he readies his full-length major label debut on Cash Money Records, Jacquees has one goal in mind—and it doesn’t differ much from that of his idols. “I just want people to listen to my music and feel good.” “You know how a certain song will make you remember a certain time? That’s what I hope my music does.”

“Preserving Our Legacy”

This Women’s Empowerment experience, will feature the legendary Patti LaBelle. She will close out the show with a crowd moving performance as well as share her empowering story of how she’s built and continues to preserve her legacy.

For the past twenty-five years, Women’s Empowerment built a legacy of excellence by celebrating the heritage, culture, impact and influence of African-American women. We enjoyed greats like, Angela Bassett, Iyanla Vanzant, Robin Roberts, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson and many more.

This April 27th, 2019 at PNC Arena,  we would love for you to join us for the entire Women’s Empowerment experience.
