Tickets for Nipsey Hussle’s public memorial service were made available today, and within minutes they were all gone. It seems though scalpers are taking advantage of the high demand to pay respect to Neighborhood Nip.
Tickets were being sold for as much as $500 on the sites like Craigslist and Offerup, but the sites are flagging the sales ads and pulling them from off of the market. The company who handled distributing the tickets has reported that tickets were completely gone Tuesday morning after being available for only a few minutes. They have now made it so that tickets can only be secured through their mobile app, and will not be able to be transferred.
The memorial service will begin at 10:00am on Thursday. Tickets were only distributed to residents of California, with a max of 4 per group. The memorial will be held at The Staple’s Center which holds 21,000 people.
