R. Kelly is still getting booked for appearances, and making a lot of money. The troubled singer was paid $22,000 to walk through a a nightclub and hangout for an hour. Kelly showed up at the Dirty South Lounge in Springfield to hang out with fans and even sang a little big of his famous song “Bump N’ Grind”.
At the end of the night Kelly reportedly walked away with $22k of which he paid his booking agent $2k. The crowd inside of the club was pretty small, only about 50 people were in the building.
