Common Opens Up About Being Molested

Rapper and actor Common is revealing some deep secrets that many people don’t know about him. In his new memoir ‘Let Love Have the Last Word”, the Chicago native has revealed that he was the victim of molestation as a child. According to TMZ, Common hopes to encourage others to open up and talk about molestation on their journey to find healing.

In the book, Common recalls a memory that had been repressed where a family friend molested him. He says that suppressed memories of the event were brought to light back in 2018 while filming “The Tale” with Laura Dern.
