It is no secret that North Carolina Central University has a stellar basketball program. It was just announced that NC Central men’s basketball coach #LevelleMoton will be representing the USA Basketball team for the second time.

Coach Moton will join the coach of Kansas State, Bruce Weber and Washington’s Mike Hopkins to lead the U19 Men in the FIBA World Cup. Back in 2015, Levelle Moton was picked to coach as a court coach. This time, he will taking on the full-time assistant position where he will get to have more input of what’s produced on the court.

The NCCU coach made a statement saying “It’s a promotion. Instead of suggestions, I’m making decisions on whether or not this gold medal is coming back to the United States. That’s what I’m looking forward to”.

We are keeping the energy alive and rooting for the United States as they face off in Crete, Greece.
