R. Kelly has been indicted on more charges involving sex crimes in Illinois. Prosecutors filed 5 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, 4 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, and 2 counts of criminal sexual assault against the singer earlier today… That’s 11 new felony counts if you’re keeping count!
Court documents reveal that Kelly is accused of sexually penetrating a victim named “J.P.” by threatening her in 2010. He is also accused of forcing the victim to perform oral sex on him. Documents also reveal that the young lady was under the age of 18 when the offense took place. Out of the 11 charges, three of them are related to victims who were between the ages of 13-16 years-old. Kelly will be back in court next week for an arraignment on these new charges.
A spokesman for the troubled singer said that he maintains his innocence and denies any accusations of misconduct.
