What’s better than two black moguls teaming up to better our youth? Actor #WillSmith recently became an investor for a mobile banking service application that caters to teens and their own mobile banking service.

The application will have easy money transfer features, no overdraft fees and will send real-time notifications. Teens won’t have to deal with the hassle of traditional banking rules.

The lead investor, Stripe, brought in other investors including #Nas, Matt Rutler, Kevin Gould and more. The contributions total to about $22.5 million in funding. The CEO CJ MacDonald made a statement saying “Schools don’t teach kids about money. We want to be their first bank accounts with spending cards, but also want to teach financial literacy and responsibility”.

We are excited to see what this app will do for the future.
