Things are going from bad to worse for the pied piper of R&B. After being arrested and charged with 13 counts, including child porn, R. Kelly, entered his plea of Not Guilty, and was denied bond.
Earlier today, Kels had his bond hearing, and the prosecution argued that he was a flight risk and danger to the community, especially young girls. They also said that there is no denying that it is R. Kelly in the 20+ videos they obtained from his ex-employees and enablers.
R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, disagreed, saying that R. Kelly isn’t a flight risk because he doesn’t like to fly, and that he has no money and also that he is not currently a threat to minors. The judge wasn’t buying it and denied bond. Kels will remained locked up until this next court date.
