Many witnessed the movie premiere that began Thursday in some areas. The live action remake dominated this weekend’s movie sales and garnered a new record. This makes the movie the 9th biggest box office movie debut of all time. Wow!
The movie hit a half billion in about 10 days, including the early opening in China. The movie is on track to bring in $1 billion worldwide by the next weekend. On Friday, singer #Beyonce released a Lion King inspired album called #TheLionKingTheGift that many fans are crazing over. The album includes track features from #WizKid and Bey’s daugher #BlueIvy. Social media loves the album and so do we.
