Recently, sources reveal that #Blackish creator Kenya Barris is teaming up with Grammy award winning rapper #KidCudi to create an adult animated music series for #Netflix. This project is based on Kid Cudi’s forthcoming album entitled “Entergalactic”.
The storyline is set around a young man who is on his quest to find love, while featuring music from Cudi’s album. Kid Cudi is slated to write, star in, and executive produce the series alongside Barris. This new series will be the third project for #KenyaBarris under his new production deal with the streaming giant, Netflix.
Cudi took to #Twitter and stated “Entergalactic will be something you’ve never experienced. I promise it’ll be a fun ride. Lots of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but it will be here before you know it”! According to his tweets, the project will release a year from now!
