WRAL.com is reporting that 11 workers who have been out cleaning up oil from BP’s blown-out well have been treated for symptoms that could be related to the oil…
Dr. Damon Dietrich says he has seen patients come in with respiratory problems, headaches and nausea… He also said that 11 people coming in with the same symptoms make him a little suspicious…
Just incase you’ve been stuck under a rock somewhere, here’s what BP’s done thus far to fix the situation:
First there was the 100-ton, four-story box that couldn’t contain the spill because of ice like crystals. Then there was a straw-like device that actually did capture crude but wasn’t doing a good job…And we cant forget about the supposed “top kill” procedure where they put heavy mud and junk into the well — It didn’t work either… The most recent attempt ran into trouble a mile under water when the (diamond tip)saw became stuck after slicing through about half of the blown-out well…Now clean up workers are starting to complain about Flu like symptoms…
