BET Networks will debut its first ever original music documentary when My Mic Sounds Nice: A Truth About Women and Hip-Hop, premieres later this month.
The documentary, which was directed by Ava DuVernay centered around the impact women have had on the genre of Hip-Hop, since its inception in the early 1970’s. Look for Mc Lyte, Yo Yo, Rah Digga, Eve, Missy Elliot, Trina, plus executives and journalists in My Mic Sounds Nice.
