Multi-Platinum Rapper turned Actor and now Film Producer, T.I. stopped by 97.9 The Box promoting his highly anticipated film, “Takers”starring himself, Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Chris Brown and more!
T.I. gave us an in depth look inside of the film discussing how fun it was to work with the cast, getting all of his first choices to play each role, determining the “suited swag” of their characters in the film, and even talked about how he was forced to wear a ‘tight & hot’ uniform during one of the scenes!
He later expounds on why he and other producers took the filming and budgeting of the movie so seriously realizing that the success of this movie could open doors for other upcoming minority film producers.
“Takers” will be in theaters Friday, August 27th.
