The Carolina Panthers have a nasty habit of spoiling high-profile games for the New York Giants.
When New York got to the playoffs in 2005, the Panthers made them looking ordinary in a 23-0 shutout. And just nine months ago, Carolina ruined New York’s final game in Giants Stadium and knocked them out of the playoff race in the process with an embarrassing 41-9 win.
The Panthers will get another shot at playing the spoiler role Sunday when they face New York in the Giants’ first regular-season NFL game.
