He reminded people that yes she was a superstar but she was also human, someones daughter, someones  mother. He recently worked with Whitney on the remake of the 1970’s hit movie “Sparkle” which hit theaters August 2012.

Pastor Marvin Winans has been chosen to eulogize Whitney Houston on Saturday at the private, invitation only funeral to be held in Newark, NJ at New Hope Baptist Church. Pastor Winans also officiated over his good friend Whitney Houston wedding to Bobby Brown in 1992.
