The North Raleigh Boys and Girls Club are in need of help to clean up debris, from the past tornados that hit our area. They indicated that they need skilled volunteers who have tools and trucks to remove the debris. Please spread the word to anyone that has the resources to help, or who would like to donate food and water for the volunteer workers.

Tornado Clean Up!

Boys & Girls Clubs, Raleigh Girls Club and Raleigh Boys Club Units, were impacted on Saturday, April 16th by tornadoes.

Here’s your chance to help.

Please join us in our clean-up efforts on

Friday, April 29th from 12 – 5 p.m.

at 701 N. Raleigh Boulevard.

Skilled and non-skilled labor tasks include:

– Debris removal

– Stump removal

– Packing materials for storage

– Serving lunch to community members and volunteers

Volunteers should bring all tools including:

– Rakes

– Leaf blowers

– Wood Chippers

– Saws or chainsaws

– Gloves

– 4-Wheel drive trucks

Other needs include:

– Water and food for volunteers
