As we go out with the old and in with the New Year there are several tradition people live by to bring them luck into the new year.
*A meal of Collard Greens, black eye peas and cornbread is a favorite. It is suppose to bring money and prosperity….the collards represent dollars, the peas represent coins and when they cook they swell to represent prosperity and cornbread for gold. I know what will be on my plate New Years
Day!
*Stock your cabinets and stuff your wallets with money so they will be full all year
*Don’t pay back money or other valuables on New Years Day, if you do you will be paying out all year long.
