Big shouts to former Def Jam president, author, philanthropist, motivational speaker and consultant to many entertainment and political boards Kevin Liles who stopped by the K975 studios yesterday to speak about the 2012 North Carolina Central University Summer Youth Business and Entrepreneurship Academy presented by the Make It Happen Foundation. The Academy is open to 20, high achieving rising 10th and 11th grade students, with a B average or higher in the triangle. Students will receive business training and exposure to higher education on the campus of NCCU, free of cost. The two-week program will include lectures, corporate visits and a business plan development and team competition.
