The Raleigh Alumnae Chapter of Bennett College in collaboration with the Mopar Motivators Car Club is hosting the Second Annual “Cool Rides for Education” Open Car, Truck and Bike Show on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Fitzgerald’s Seafood in Raleigh. Gates open at 9am and the event ends at 4 PM. There are trophies awarded, door prizes and raffles. The event is free to the public. All show cars, trucks and bikes pay a registration fee of $20 to park. Non-food vendors are welcome.

Money raised will benefit the Bennett College Alumnae Chapter Scholarship Fund.  More than 15 Wake County high school girls have benefited from money the chapter awards to scholarship applicants accepted to Bennett College.

The Raleigh Alumnae Chapter of Bennett College and the Mopar Motivators are inviting the public to come out and support this most worthy cause.  Raleigh Alumnae Chapter President, Joyce Bass Valentine says “cool rides and educated women…now that’s a great combination!  We really want the community to embrace this event.  It’s a worthy cause and the students who come to the event really enjoy looking at all the wonderful cars.  It’s a great opportunity for the car clubs to recruit new members, too.”
