danity-kane-then-now

Ever since the random reunion of mid-2000’s Making the Band pop sensation, Danity Kane, the world has been wondering why only four of the five original members were on board.

Aubrey O’ Day, Aundrea Fimbres, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard were all in, but the notable missing piece was D. Woods. Rumors swirled about D. Woods absence, and group members claimed they reached out, but now Woods has come forward to set the record straight.

According to TMZ, Woods claims to have been available for the reunion, but was never asked. Details below:

Woods tells us she first heard about the groups reunion plans back in May — but not through the girls — instead she learned via TMZ … when we shot the girls meeting up with a new manager. The 29-year old singer says none of the girls ever expressed any interest in a reunion after breaking up 5 years ago … and Woods was met with resistance every time she tried.Woods isn’t quite sure why the girls want nothing to do with her … but says she’s happy they’re still having success with “the sound that I helped them create.”

I don’t know who is telling the truth, but I must say that the long-awaited reunion is not as exciting without all 5 original members.

Check out footage from Danity Kane’s first reunion concert last week in New York. Do they still have it? Watch to find out and take our poll below!
