meek-mill

Maybach Music rapper, Meek Mill, is suing the city of Philadelphia for a bogus arrest, which costed him thousands in fines and millions in endorsement… this according to TMZ.

The lawsuit stems from an arrest back in 2012, where Meek was pulled over by Philly PD and they claim they smelled marijuana in the car, but inevitably came up with nothing. But Meek ended up arrested because he refused to let the cops search his car, which resulted in a cancelled private flight to Atlanta (22k), and missing a private party, where he would’ve racked up 40K in appearance fees.

The “Amen” rapper also claims that because of the arrest, and its resulting bad publicity, this caused him to have to settle for 650k from a Puma endorsement deal, where he was negotiating $2 million.

Meek is suing the city for invasion of privacy, false imprisonment, and for the millions he lost from the Puma endorsement.
