ebony angelslogo Big shouts to Ebony Angels Motorcycle Club as they celebrate 20 years in the game. This all female Motorcycle Club was founded in 1994 by world-renowned neo-soul Gospel Singer Cynthia Jones in 1994 after she attended a motorcycle safety class, and simply wanted other females to ride with….thus Ebony Angels MC evolved.Ebony Angels had 6 founding members and has had as many as 21 members over the past 20 years. It is from the foundation that Ebony Angels built that several local female motorcycle clubs evolved. Club members have ranged from mothers and wives to teachers, entrepreneurs, business professionals, military personnel, and clergy just to name a few. Community Service is a pillar of Ebony Angels foundation and over the years they have supported many charities such as Bikers Against Breast Cancer, Lupus Foundation, The Healing Place,Stuff The Trailer and Shena Shares just to name a few. EA Vice President “Bittersweet” said “It’s encouraging to ride in a parade and see the faces of little girls light up when they see ladies riding their own motorcycles! We even have little boys yelling, “Oooo, that’s my bike..!” and “Oh my gosh, that’s a girl..!”. These ladies have kept their dedication to God, community service, and promoting a positive image of female riders at the forefront of all that they do. Over the years The Ebony Angels have been featured in various venues such as being advisers for the book Biker Club written by KennyBlueSome and featured in Minden Motor, a Hungarian magazine in Europe. Some of these ladies like to race on the track and pop wheelies like their President 2 Tuff, and others will only do 5 mph over the speed limit and would rather just enjoy the ride. These Two Wheel Ladies stated “No matter what path our lives put us on or in which direction our lives take, we will always be EA and we will always have our 2 wheels!”. As a supporter and fan of our Motorcycle Community I Salute you ladies! Happy 20 year Anniversary!
