Since the dismissal of Columbus Short from ABC‘s hit drama “Scandal”, there have been a few names kicked around as to who should replace Short. One of those names has been Mr. Lorenz Tate. And the whispers from the rumor mill have been getting a bit louder lately, so Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover caught up with Larenz to find out for themselves if he was going to be joining the Scandal cast.

Take a look to see what Lorenz had to say about grabbing a white hat and wearing it along side Olivia Pope and her gladiators!

Hmmmm…did anyone else notice that he said it was “hearsay”…but the one thing he didn’t say was….”No…it’s not true”? We wonder if Miss Shonda has seen this clip. C’mon we’re talking about SCANDAL here! She lives for surprising folks! That’s what keeps us breathless for the hour that the darn show is on each week!

We’re definitely going to keep our eye on this one! We would not mind seeing Lorenz flash his trademark smile every week! He’s a very versatile actor…so you really never know how he might be able to shake the show up. He can play the nice guy well but plays the evil guy even better…so we think the writers could create a super cool character for him!

Guess we just have to be patient and wait and see how it all works out! Until then…here’s hoping!

Now…DISCUSS!
