During this weekend’s Revolt Music conference, Charlamagne Tha God caused some controversy by speaking out on Ma$e’s return to hip hop. Back in the early 90’s Ma$e was well known as an artist on Bad Boy Records. In 1999, he left the rap game to become a minister, but has recently returned to recording music. This return to music prompted Charlamagne to insinuate that Ma$e is a hypocrite. This statement lead to confrontation between Charlamagne and Ma$e that was broken up by Charlamagne’s security. Charlamagne later tweeted about the incident, saying “FYI no rapper turned pastor turned rapper again pushed me. He did run up and he got pushed and then we prayed together.”
