This is great news to start off your morning…
Last evening, Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, a nurse, whose abduction was caught on Surveillance video was found alive with minimal injuries in MD. Three days ago, while leaving work, she was attacked and abducted, which sparked a nationwide manhunt involving the FBI. She was found alive in Jessup, MD, with her abductor, Delven Barnes, 37.
Barnes is being held on a Virginia warrant for attempted capital murder and other charges in another case, and “then he will be charged federally with the crimes here in Philadelphia,” Hanko said.
Authorities credited the public’s help in identifying the suspect and his vehicle.
“Tonight we surveilled that vehicle in the area of Jessup, Maryland,” Hanko said.
“… When the subject exited the vehicle, that’s when Ms. (Freeland-Gaither) was recovered.”
This is such great news! I credit the Philly PD and the FBI and media outlets for bringing attention to Carlesha’s abduction. Won’t HE do it!
